Moths to the New Teatro Nuovo in Naples
review for Anita Curci
the New Teatro Nuovo in Naples in the section 'New Sensibility' opens the curtain with a tribute to Virginia Stephen Woolf, through a review of the novel 'The Waves'. 'Moths' is the title of the show thought and written by Marco Di Stefano, directed by Charles Origoni.
Here the work of British writer, already structured in the form of introspective dialogue, is literally borrowed and reorganized according to modern patterns plays, perfectly able to meet the needs and dynamics of innovation performance. The theme of 'Moths' guess the reading 'The Waves' and not only that Virginia Woolf is an open book of sensitivity experiments to the human consciousness and soul searching. Nothing ermetico.Tutto is to capture the sense of that question that keeps us clinging to life until the end. This life is like the waves, cradle and leads us towards unknown shores, 'Life is fleeting or solid?' Here's the question of the writer, and the leitmotif that penetrates the six characters in the scene when the feeling and retrace the investigation of the unconscious Woolf.
Bernard, Susan, Rhoda, Neville, Jinny and Louis are the elements that make up this story and are simple yet complex. Soliloquies emerges from the solitude of a blurred reality from the illusion that the ego can solve all things at the right time, certainty emerges the passage of time, if there is an inevitability of fate that, at some point, it allows more space to the mirages of the soul. And everything becomes painful reminiscenza.E 'through those six personalities who beat the figure of Percival, who, though never appears on stage, and even in the novel, does not reveal secondary entity indeed often is his influence to make from connecting thread running through all the others.
Percival's death draws a line between before and after. The first is adolescence, the road to real maturity, and the after is the knowledge of growth, full of reflections and autoanalisi.L 'Woolf's intention was to give rhythm to the flow of consciousness, deep, swaying of the time, and he did it in literary form. Al Nuovo Teatro Nuovo for this purpose has been fully achieved not only through dialogues, gear and settings of their avant-garde theater, but also for setting a scene flowing along with the characters and content, and through the choice of a suggestive music and worthy of note. Other words of praise goes to the actors, real talent. [....]

International Workshop: planning digital environments for sensitive ecosystems in the city of Cagliari
From October 24 to 29 will be organized within the "academy" City of Enterprise , the international workshop design and advanced production "of designing digital environments for sensitive ecosystems in the city of Cagliari," which brings together students from the University of Cagliari Faculty of Architecture-diarchy and Pratt Institute GAUD (Graduate Architecture and Urban Design Program) Brooklyn, New York.
The workshop will be studied as two key areas of strategic planning of Cagliari, the Molentargius Park and Railroad Park, which become research sites where to test ways of designing and manufacturing the border to propose alternative models for designing environmentally sustainable and sensitive to the dynamics of the ecosystems of the edge of town. As is the case in a digital process, we not only create the conditions for the representation of the object and its production, but also for continuous reaction and adaptability to constantly changing scenarios.
The workshop will conclude with the submission and opening of the exhibition of the work on October 29, 2008 at 11 am at the building of the Salt Chosen Molentargius Park.
